WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?

During your first session at Irmo Counseling, your therapist will meet with you to help you identify issues you want to work on in therapy and goals to be accomplished. You may come in ready to talk about the issues at hand in which case your therapist with ask questions to make sure she understands you and what you are going through. Some new clients feel more reserved at their first visit and your therapist will help you feel comfortable by asking a series of questions that will help both of you determine your particular concerns and goals for change in therapy.
