Andrea J. Richardson, LISW-CP

Therapy is my passion, in which I recommend to everyone.  It is andrea3 empowering, rewarding, freeing and helps one discover the better part of themselves. At an early age, I realized my role in life would be to help others. My goals in therapy are to help my clients feel   comfortable, accepted, free and empowered while working towards becoming greater versions of themselves. Struggles and difficult times happens to all of us, and I am here to make those trying times little easier. I can speak from experience that seeking therapy promotes growth, courage and healing. We can face your challenges together and work towards recovery.

I am a psychotherapist and Licensed Independent Social Worker with years of experience, at the clinical level. I have had the pleasure of working with a very diverse group of individuals and consider therapy my life’s purpose. I presently work full-time at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and very humbled to provide treatment to our Nations Heroes. I work extensively with people in the areas of mental illness, substance abuse, life skills, as well as, crisis management and intervention. Previously, I worked in the medical setting, as well as the Department of Mental Health and Three Rivers Behavioral Health. My primary approach to psychotherapy are strength based and client centered care. I thoroughly enjoy empowering others, while focusing on their strengths and abilities.
